Saif Ali Khan’s Sister Saba BREAKS Silence On ‘Insane’ Stabbing Incident: ‘I Am In Shock’
Saba Pataudi has reacted to her brother Saif Ali Khan being stabbed during a burglary, expressing shock and sending prayers for his recovery.
The news of Saif Ali Khan being stabbed multiple times in a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence sent shockwaves among his fans, and the film industry. His children Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, sister Soha Ali Khan and many others were seen visiting him in Lilavati Hospital today. Saif’s sister Saba Pataudi, who was not in Mumbai, has now reacted to the attack. She expressed her shock, but also added that she is proud of her brother for taking care of his family.
Taking to her Instagram story, Saba Pataudi shared a major throwback photo with her brother Saif Ali Khan. In her message for him, she wrote that their father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi would have been so proud of him for the way he took care of his family, and showed strength in such a situation. Saba wrote, “I am in shock and reeling from this insane incident. But proud of you Bhaijaan. Taking care of the family and standing tall would make abba so proud. I Am. get well soon. Missing being there. Will see you soon. Duas N prayers always." She also expressed her love for her brother, and wrote, “I love you." Check out her Instagram story below.

Mumbai Police confirmed that Kareena Kapoor, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh were in the house when Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an intruder on Thursday. An attempted robbery took place at Saif and Kareena’s Bandra house. Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple stab wounds during an altercation with the thief. The actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. According to Dr Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, Saif was brought to the hospital around 3:30 AM after sustaining six stab wounds, two of which were deep. One of the injuries is reportedly near his spine.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan’s team issued a statement once the surgery was done. “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident. We would like to thank Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Dr. Nitin Dange, Dr Leena Jain and the team at Lilavati hospital. Thank you to all his fans and well-wishers for their prayers and thoughts during this time," read the statement.
